Water levels are read from durable, chemical-resistant PVDF flat tape in lengths up to 2000 ft. (600 m). The WLT probe measures temperature from -20ºC to 125ºC with an accuracy of ±0.5ºC.

The WLT Meter is useful for detecting runoff, points of inflow, or sources of thermal pollution; early warning of changes in water quality and aquatic environments; and geothermal surveys.
